Veni, vidi, veci

yinyang

It all started

one summer of May,

when the sun

greeted the sky

and the clouds just

kept on rolling by

as it rained,

on the first of July,

where the raindrops

fell heavily and

tears were hidden from the

passers-by

Days passed,

in the downpour of September,

Where feelings are

being drowned but

still survived

the floods of November

Days turned to weeks

and weeks

turned to months,

And the coldness

of the night

froze the weary heart

Until the midnight sky

was all sparks,

the warmth of the

fireworks slowly,

slowly melted the ice,

And a silver lining came

at eleven fifty nine.
